2010/02 - We are honored to announce that System Scanning Ltd has achieved the contract of supply ‘Unique Patient Identification (UPI) System’ to the Hospital Authority of Hong Kong (HA) in 2010, Provided that the barcode system to the HA with over 1000 sets of CODE 3500 handheld terminals and LUKHAN LK-P11 portable printer, for improving the positive patient identification services in the public hospitals.

  It will take 30 days from the time this service is purchased to set up and perform necessary audits and processes before the hardware call-to-repair time commitment is in effect. During this initial 30-day period and for up to 5 additional business days after the audit is completed, we will provide a 4-hour onsite response time and will use commercially reasonable efforts to meet the 6-hour call-to-repair time commitment.
  Onsite response time specifies the period of time that begins when the initial service request is received and ends when the authorized representative arrives at the Customer's site, if this time falls within the specified coverage window.

The following onsite response times are available for eligible products:

- Next-day response:
An authorized representative will arrive at the Customer's site to begin hardware maintenance service the next day after the service request has been logged and for which there is a contracted coverage window.
- 4-hour repsonse:
An authorized representative will arrive at the Customer's site to begin hardware maintenance service within 4 hours after the service requst is logged, if this time falls within the contracted coverage window.
